Military Nursing Service(MNS) is a Short Service Commissioned officer Post in the Indian Army. Short Service Commission means to serve it for few years.

- Indian(Citizen of India)
- B.Sc.(Nursing)/PB(Post Basic) B.Sc. Nursing/M.Sc. Nursing
- 02 Aug 1981 and 03 Aug 1995 (Including Both Days)
- (A) Written Test; (B) Interview; (C) Medical Exam
- Single/Married/Divorcee/legally Separated/Widow
Military Nursing Service(MNS) Selection Process
- (A) Written Examination.
- (B) Interview and Medical Examination
- (B)-(a) Matriculation(Class 10th) Pass Certificate/School Leaving Certificate (For verifying Date of Birth).
- (B)-(b) Registration certificate(should be valid) PG/PB B.Sc./B.Sc. Nursing degree course.
- (B)-(c) B.Sc./ P.B. B.Sc./M.Sc. Nursing passing certificates and Mark sheets.
- (B)-(d) NCC Certificates(If Any).
- (B)-(e) Character Certificate issued by a University/Gazetted Officer.
- (B)-(f) A proof ID of Indian citizenship Nationality(Aadhar Card/Voter ID/ Passport/any other proof)
- (B)-(g) NOC(No Objection Certificate) from the present employer(In case if employed).
- (B)-(h) One self-addressed envelope having a postal stamp of Rs 40 for speed-post(of call letters if selected).
- (B)-(i) If any candidate is served previously in Military Nursing Service, a copy of release order is required.
- (B)-(j) If any case such as candidate’s name change, father’s/mother’s name change, a copy of Gazette notification/or any other authority (highlighting the new name) is required.
